Hero Dog, aka Hero the Magical is one of the finest champion Akitas in the world. Between the ages of seven and thirteen months he received ribbons in 21 of the 22 shows in which he participated, and was awarded Champion status by the AKC.

He's a working dog. He makes his home in Ventura, CA with his friend Spirit and his favorite bipeds Bob and Sammie Mithoff. They are working dogs too.

He likes raw meat, enchiladas, and chocolate. But not at the same time.

If you play the Orange Blossom Special he will dance.

He's a special guy.

But then there's a bit of Hero Dog in all of us.
